God's love!

One of my favorite hymns would have to be St. Patrick's Breastplate. The sixth verse(or so) goes like this: "Christ be with me, Christ within me, Christ behind me, Christ before me, Christ beside me, Christ to win me, Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me, Christ in mouth of friend and stranger."
It is such a beautiful reminder that God is with us always and through everything. Like Romans 8:38-39 states "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Wow! Nothing can separate us from God. Isn't He just amazing! Praise be God who's love is not limited, self-motivated, but rather eternal and never changing.

  1. Thank you for this reminder, that God is fully in control and that we are blessed to be in his presence!
